This fan has been removed and the hole has been sealed with an aluminum plate. The OEM fan was replaced with a Vantec ThermoFlow temperature sensing fan that controls it's speed and therefore CFM based on the temperature of the air it is moving. That single modification as dropped the temperature in these modified SAT-T60's from 50-52C to 43-44C in a 70F room. When the room temp gets up into the 80's during summer the T60's with the ThermoFlow fans report a temperature in the range of 45-47C depending on the actual room temp.
